Jackpocket
The product
Jackpocket is a mobile lottery app for iOS and Android. The product allows state lotteries to generate increased revenue by utilizing best-in-class mobile technologies and design trends.
Jackpocket’s mobile platforms have been built to help retain players, foster loyalty from existing players, increase gameplay security, and produce significant revenue from players who currently do not play the lottery.
Jackpocket’s “mobile first” approach to the lottery market provides players the ultimate mobile commerce solution for playing the lottery, while affording states the ability to enforce imperative regulatory standards (e.g. ID verification, PCI compliance, and geo-verification).
Group pooling Feature
I consulted with the CEO and Android developer to understand the brand, strategy, and pain points to lead UX/UI design for a group pooling feature. The pooling feature adds a social component, encouraging users to promote the app among their friend group.
I researched fantasy league and messaging apps to determine the best UX to inform user flows and wireframes. I then built out high-fidelity wireframes, iterated based on feedback from CEO and built a high-fidelity prototype for user testing.
